It rained yesterday in Northern California. Rained!
I took that as a sign that I needn’t wash my hair. I also had to hunt down a pair of tights because all of my pants were in the wash.
Luckily, it had cleared into beautiful sunny weather by evening.
Sharing some shots (just past 24 weeks) in what’s sure to become my usual spot in the midst of our backward mini-vineyard…I need to hunt around for some better shooting locales, but I am shy in public and feel safe in the privacy of our yard!
I was excited to see that the grapes were beginning to sprout, though. Aren’t they cute? Not as cute as the halfpence surely is, but still…
Todd felt him move for the first time Tuesday night. A little mini kick as he changed into a more comfortable position. He’s moving more these days, but is still relatively chill. I’m going to start reading him my favorite children’s book this weekend, Danny the Champion of the World. Danny (well, Daniel) is actually on our list of names, as I’d love to name him after the sweet, timid character. But, we shall see. I don’t want to choose a name for him until after he arrives.
I saw a midwife (I’ve met three out of the four so far!) on Monday and she said all is well. I had had a particularly awful day at work so I was a bit teary-eyed and drained, and Todd wasn’t able to make the appointment, so I think she was a bit worried about my mental state! I’ve gained an additional 2 pounds and she said I had the cutest baby belly, which made me happy :-) Not as happy as when I heard the baby’s heartbeat, nice and strong.

I love your style Penny. Even pregnant you’re so fashionable. You inspire me to put more effort into my appearance.
So cute! Even 6 months pregnant you are still rocking your signature style. Love it!!
High-five on the “it’s raining so this means I needn’t wash my hair”. Sometimes I actually look forward to days like that – it’s so nice to have an excuse. Your baby belly is adorable, and so are your boots.
you must be one of the cutest pregnant women i’ve ever seen!
I’ve been doing the no-washing thing recently, too, but I think I’ve just been lazy…that’s awesome that your baby is healthy and strong and you look seriously stylish for 6 months (or, really, any time pregnant or not)!
I want the boots!
You look darling, chica! Pregnancy really suits you! When is your due date? Miss you! xoxo!
