I may or may not have been stalking the launch of this collection, even though I’ve promised my pocketbook that I will only be looking, not buying.

It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen a Moss/Topshop collaboration (the last was holiday 2009), and I was excited to see what the model/designer had come up with for spring 2010.

There are the usual suspects; skinny jeans, funky shorts, mini floral empire dresses and a few rompers thrown in for good measure. The limited edition pieces are plentiful, and include a super cute multi-color feather cape (available on the UK site only) and beautiful vintage-inspired cropped jackets.

Certain to be a hit? The silk kimono, which I am dying to own. But, for $160….I’ll have to pass.

The collection is available online for purchase now. Prices range from $24 to $370.

I love the sequin zig zag dress and the swirl stud swirl maxi dress! Maybe when my Fall invoices start coming in I can treat myself to one of these!

I like the short, long sleeved lace dress (but for 300 bucks? I can do better than Top Shop quality!) and the silk playsuit. I wish more designers did wearable, casual, young silk pieces. In general it seems slightly more wearable and mature to me than earlier collections. But nothing really motivates me to buy.

JD, I’ve already decided that when I make it to London (soon, travel gods, soon!) we have to get together for a booze-soaked thrift-a-thon.

You have me thinking, though…maybe there is a hole in the market for these pieces.

I like it (excepting the lace up crotch short-shorts because, um no) but it’s waaaaaaaaaaaay out of my price range. Has anyone ever bought anything from her collection, what is the quality like? It looks like H&M type of quality to me but it could be the pictures/way its presented.

YES. I totally remember that. I don’t know if I still have mine…I did recently find the old issues of Seventeen and People when Krissy Taylor died.

C, yes, I do. Overall Topshop quality is a little better than H&M. But, yes, it’s expensive. Especially her stuff.

That’s actually a picture of Moss from the opening of TopShops branch in Knightsbridge, last night! Also, while I adore TopShop for some fast fashion stock-ups, I really don’t think the celebrity lines are ever worth the money. I mean, they’re quite overpriced, and not great quality! They do have pretty fantastic (and reasonably priced – ?40-?120) shoes at the moment, though!

rd, you’re right…I pulled it from Zimbio and that was their caption, but I did notice those photos today and never made the connection! Thank you!

All I want is her hair. Seriously, how do you do that?
