J Crew Spring Sale

by Penny on May 14, 2010

J Crew, as always, has marked down their sale an extra 20%. The sale runs through Sunday. I haven’t given J Crew much love lately, although I did buy my mom an awesome striped top from the store for Mother’s Day.

Here are my sale picks:

Photobucket

Fringed McAlister Boots in light gray ($103 after markdown). These would be cute paired with a slouchy pair of cut-offs, a white button-down and a cross-body bag, and will easily carry you into fall.

Lightweight Cotton Beach Pant in stone blue ($32 after markdown). How cute (and comfy) would these chambray pants be rolled up with a pair of strappy heels and a basic tee or camp shirt? And you can just as easily wear them to bed. Love!

Cotton Check Shirt ($48 after markdown). Gingham shirts are incredibly versatile and classic, and these one is supremely comfortable and light (I own it).

Clustered Pendant Necklace ($24 after markdown). I love the long length and fringe detailing on this necklace.

Caprice Jacket ($72 after markdown). If you feel the parka trend is too utilitarian for your taste, this version, with it’s ruffle detailing, is more romantic while maintaining the same silhouette.

Toothpick Zipper Jeans ($40 after markdown). I’ve had my eye on these for a few months, now they’re a third of the original price!

Ugh. You totally hit me in the weak spot. I just ordered the checked shirt. I wish I could buy all the pieces you posted, but I just cant justify it right now. But that shirt? At that price? I needed it.

I love those zipper jeans! But they’re available in a 24 (no way I could fit that) and the next size is a 29. Do you think if I bought a 29 and washed them they’d shrink down a little?

Ugh no, this is such a bad habit of mine, finding pants I like on sale but buying them in the best available size. That’s how I get a closet full of pants that are too big and look stupid on. I have a hard time avoiding a good sale.

Claudia, I’m the same way!! I have a pair of JCrew jeans I can’t wear right now for the same reason… MUST RESIST!
