Why Don’t You… { TGIF! }

I could not be more thrilled that it’s the weekend, and that I don’t have to travel! Aside from a weekend in Napa and another in Portland, I would be happy to stay home-bound until the baby arrives. Highly unusual for me, but there’s so much to do! Aside from work, which is kicking my ass of late, we have a kitchen remodel planned and three rooms to decorate! I am slowly trying to catch up with my darling/amazing/understanding friends who I’ve neglected for the past few months. I am usually fairly organized, but I’m feeling buried lately :-(

In any case, it is the weekend. Hurray! I have about 547 things on my to-do list, but what I’d really love to do is hop on my bicycle and ride to the farmer’s market. What do you have planned?

• Order a copy of Todd Selby’s new book?
• Live in NYC? Apparently Q-Tip DJs at the Ace Hotel every Friday night (a little random, a lot awesome).
• Bake a batch of super soft and chewy snickerdoodles (aka The Best Cookie EVER)?
• Daydream about a long afternoon spent in this awesome floating tent? With wine…cheese…a good book…maybe a lazy cat…
• Plan ahead for NYE and pick up some Zac Posen party dresses at Target? Also, the Cynthia Vincent shoes are perfectly chic for summer.
