Back In Town

We arrived back home late last night, and I couldn’t be happier to be back. I loved spending time with my family and our place was fantastic, but Mother Nature was less than accommodating. It was cloudy, windy and rainy our entire visit, which was a bummer. I read a lot and ate even more :-)

I have so much to do before the halfpence arrives, I just want to buckle down and try my best to focus. While I was in Hawaii I watched The Business of Being Born, which was far less unbalanced that I thought it would be. I found it simultaneously informative, funny, scary and quite heartwarming. I do wish they would have focused more on American socio-economics and its impact on the health and health care of women, but overall it was good.

I did, however, spend the plane ride home anxious about having a child (there was a screaming 14 month old in front of me).

In any case, I am spending my Monday catching up. Tomorrow I am back to work!

Hope all is well, dear readers :-)

Welcome back! I am with you on the anxiousness – I am due in a couple of months and it is hitting me how much there is left to do! But I keep trying to remember that the only things you REALLY need for baby are a car seat and diapers! Good luck!
