Charlotte Gainsbourg is kicking off her first US tour and I will be in Hawaii during her SF show! I am so bummed! I am missing all the great small warm-up shows around the bay area leading up to Coachella. Here are the dates for those of you who might be interested:

What do you have spooled up for the weekend? I am off to Ashland with Todd and his parents. We meet up with his sister and her husband each March to see some plays. Todd and I will be seeing Well and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and babysitting little Alma while the others see Hamlet.
I am really excited to visit my favorite shop in town, Prize. The proprietor has excellent taste, and offers up a beautiful assortment of cards, books and gifts. This is where I picked up my “Keep Calm” poster before they were cool, and last year I bought the cutest vintage French flashcards. I can’t wait to see what she has!

It sounds like you have a nice weekend planned; have a great time! We’re expecting anywhere from 2-4 inches of rain here tomorrow – it seems like it’s been one weather emergency after another lately – so my boyfriend and I plan to get a head start on our spring cleaning. So exciting, I know. And Sunday I will spend the day catching up on school work I put off during my spring break.
