Alexander McQueen’s Last, Unfinished Collection Unveiled in Paris

by Penny on March 9, 2010

16 unfinished looks were completed by McQueen’s design team and presented in a Paris drawing room today. Rich blood red, gold and black dominated the looks, which drew from Renaissance silhouettes and fabrics. In fact, a painting from that era was digitally printed onto one of the looks.

Absolutely glorious.

I want to either 1 get married in or 2 be buried in the second to last dress. It made me a little misty eyed…

This is a great collection. Very influential. For years to come. :)
