Below I’ve provided an alternative to the more casual look from last week. Pairing this blazer with a dress in a traditional floral requires a few rules to avoid looking too Virgina Woolf-esque. Keep it short, with the hem hitting just below the blazer. Keep the design simple, as a floral tends to be busy on its own. Style with a pair of black tights (opaque, wool, lace…you decide) and ivory to camel booties. I like the break at the foot, but a black bootie would be key if you need to elongate your legs. Throw on a scarf in a totally different floral pattern and a cross-body bag. It’s a perfect look for shopping or running errands.

Oh my god! I just bought that blazer last week on sale! Craziness. I wonder in retrospect if your style inspired me to buy it.
Well, thanks for writing posts about clothing items that I own. Awesome.
PS And I just realized the sale price I got it for was $39.95. AND the tag on the blazer has a place where you can write in your name.
I’m gonna wear it every day!
