Songs To Consider { You Figure You Can Save Her }

I had such a long day. And, I have discovered that Sacramento light rail scares me more than the NYC subway. I needed music, and I always like to share, so here we go…..

There isn’t much to say about this, except that it takes me back to a very dark time of doing bad things and listening to this record a lot, but it still makes me feel a lot, so I love it. A really good remix, it breaks into the good stuff on the two minute mark. I always thought it would be a good song for the runway.

I think I’ve already shared this on the blog, but fuck it. If you don’t own this album you need to buy it. Like, yesterday.

Okay…….this track from Daft Punk’s Alive album gets me EVERY FUCKING TIME. I can’t not move to this, if I am on the train, walking, sitting at my desk (like right now), my head inevitably starts it’s electronica nerd bopping. So good….soooooo good. After the first break it drops again at 5:08. I challenge you to not bust out dancing after the minutes of anticipation. And, the stuttering “steam machine”……god, love it.

My most favorite track from their newest album. A good highway song.

This is my absolute favorite Moody Blues song. I remember listening to it a lot when I was in junior high and dreaming up cool videos in my head (staring myself, of course). For some reason it always brought up images of the cartoon version of The Hobbit.

And this one (another from Thom Yorke’s solo album) always makes me think of The Matrix.

High Fidelity anyone?
