Sasha! Angela! Be still, my heart.
H&M has made their Autumn 2008 magazine available for online viewing, and it’s literally bursting with fashion inspiration. Autumn looks (FYI, androgynous, poetic, futuristic and fairytale), news about upcoming collaborations (could I BE more excited about the Jimmy Choo collection?) and some nice editorials.
Angela Lindvall is probably my favorite model, and I love love love seeing her in action. She is also inspiring me to go lighter with my hair….what do you think?

Expect to see a shitload of sequins at H&M this fall. Including……oh yes, sequin leggings. I bet they’re itchy.

Something I did notice, was H&M’s interpretation of the exaggerated shoulders seen at Balmain in the Spring. What’s funny, is that the black dress modeled by Angela looks nearly identical to a vintage dress I sold on eBay a few years ago, which I felt, at the time, was a perfect alternative to the shift dresses seen on the Lanvin runway in Fall of 2007. So, there you have it, folks–the grand cycle of fashion, in just 2 short years!

Obviously this cardigan screams Chanel. The skirt I could do without but those boots? I might kill a small animal for those. Too bad they belong to the stylist. What do you think of the over-the-knee boots seen in the Fall shows? I think I need a pair.

Rick Owens by way of Mad Max. I like.

oh I NEED a pair of over the knee boots. I wear them to work during the winter, they are cool looking and practical for snow/coldness.
I have to say though I have never bought anything at H&M I’ve ended up really loving. Frankly, when it comes to cheap mall shopping, I’ve always had more success at like Forever 21 or charlotte russe. I’m going to hide in shame now.
I’m really diggin’ the sweater sock things. Oh, to have money to shop!!!
