I picked up my first issue of Lula a few weeks ago and I absolutely adore it. Issue no. 8 features Chanel Iman (their cover model), Luella Bartley (one of my very favorites), Eva Mendes (because having a bit of Hollywood is a requirement these days), an ode to boaters featuring the absolutely lovely Lisa Cant, a life-sized dollhouse, and a great interview and photo montage about Edie Beale. The art directors/photographers are a huge fan of the soft-focus, hazy, romantic photographs that are so popular now — at least in this particular issue. All in all, it’s an orgy of fantastic and beautiful fashion editorials that was well worth the 16 bucks.
