I am in serious like with these ceiling lamps by Dutch designer Nicolette Brunklaus. Unfortunately, they are a little (okay, a lot) out of my price range.
What do you think crafty Luxe readers, does this lamp have DIY potential?

I think you (and by you I do not mean me; despite my DIY fantasies I lack the fine motor skills for any crafts. I can barely tie my shoes) could definitely do your own version of this, using wallpaper, contact paper or even wrapping paper on the inside!!! Only, how does it not burn with the heat from the bulb?
J.D. – Actually, I am hopeless when it comes to crafts, installation and DIY. Honestly. I have a lot of ideas, implementing them is another thing all-together!
I wonder if you could just reupholster an old shade like you would a chair. (Again, as one would).
i think you could TOTALLY diy this. my only question is like J.D…. would it burn? or would the paper curl off from the heat of the bulb, if it didn’t burn? hmm. i still think it’s doable.
