I adore Sienna Miller. I like her style, I like her attitude, I find her très, très cool. I saw this photo of her recently and was instantly taken back to the S/S 2008 collection at Chloé. I am not sure if she’s wearing Chloé; I haven’t seen the how the collection was modified from the runway. I do know that I often rock that same hairstyle. It’s called my “I didn’t want to wash my hair this morning” look. And I always get compliments.

hahaha I have several “I didn’t wash my hair” styles. If my bangs still look good then it usually means a super high ponytail or messy bun with my bangs going straight across. If my bangs are gross then I braid them into the rest of my hair which is probably also pulled back into a messy bun.
Sometimes, Sienna herself irks me but I always love her style
I am dying to find the perfect messy bun! Right now, I just sort of “fold” it onto my head and wrap a pony tail around it but it never looks like a messy bun. :(
What is the trick? What is Sienna doing with her hair in the photo? (also a huge fan of her style)
Gah! I’m tired of Allure’s ten step tricks to messy buns. If I’m too lazy to wash it, why would I want to take half an hour to make it messy? Lame, Allure, lame.
Overshare but I slept in this morning and I have that hairdo going on right now. No one can ever tell! Last week the BF told me how cute my hair looked, I was like, its just really dirty.
Also I love Sienna too, she seems totally fun.
Bri when I had long hair the only way I could move on to a true messy bun from the fold over you reference was to use bobby pins to shape and secure it from the folded over fake bun starting position. If your hair is REALLY dirty you might only need bobby pins.
