Those of you who read the Decor8 may have already picked up on this, but the bloggers behind D8 kicked off a site a few months back called Kindred, which features seasonal assortments of desktop wallpapers provided by various artists.
You can download high-res images of each wallpaper for your computer, and read about each artist. I was immediately drawn to the photograph of the buttons. Unfortunately, it’s too busy for my desktop (where about 50 files live at any given time). But, I will certainly be printing it out an adding it to one of my many inspiration boards :-)

Wow, these are gorgeous Penny. Thanks for the link. I’m adorning my laptop now – well, am trying to – have changed it several times trying to decide. Wide screen wallpapers would be awesome but these are fabulous for now :)
Those are great. I used to spend a lot of time try to find the right wallpaper, but I ended up getting one I only half liked and I just quit. Maybe I’ll find one I like here. Thanks.
These are great. My current wallpaper is this drawing/water color painting image from this girl’s blog (you can see it in her header- its a sleeping girl with a blue/purple background).

I’m trying to get back into drawing and painting and I have been scouring images and blogs for inspiration and this girl’s drawings are definitely helping. Im going to print a bunch of pictures and make an inspiration board (inspired by a certain Miss Penny)
