I hope you all have a lovely Easter and the weather treats you well. It’s clear and crisp in Northern California! I’m envisioning all of the kids scampering around, hunting for Easter eggs; it makes me smile. My family is not religious so we never formally celebrated Easter. My favorite memory is visiting my great aunt’s house – she would throw a huge Easter extravaganza at her home in the woods. I grew up on the coast near Mendocino, CA, which is covered in beautiful redwood forests. My aunt would hide hundreds of Easter eggs in the woods around her house and us kids had a BLAST hunting for them. So much more fun than our skimpy backyards!
Today David and I decided to have my parents over on a whim, as we haven’t seen them in awhile. We’re having a late lunch. I have no clue what to cook, so I am off to poke around the Internet for Easter-appropriate menus.
