This is so funny, last night this song started playing on Pandora, and I said to David, “hey, I think he performed this when we went to see him with my dad.” Last night, my dad emailed me a YouTube video with the note, “I love this song! It expresses my feelings about and hopes for you perfectly :-)”
The video is kind of dorky, but the song is lovely.
I think I might need to start a Penny’s Dad’s Song Recommendation series, as I get a LOT of these YouTube emails from him…..

I love that you have a glass of wine in your hand in almost every picture I see of you! You are indeed a girl after my own heart!
And my daddy recommends me music, too. I’ve written about it before. Some songs and artists I probably wouldn’t even like if I heard them on my own, but because they remind me of my dad, I love them.
