It’s no secret that I love J Crew, but I also coming close to idolizing the company’s Creative Director, Jenna Lyons. I love her style, and I love that she’s evolved with the company for over a decade. I also think it’s brilliant that she wasn’t given the boot when Mickey Drexler joined the company a few years back. Creative executives always seem to be the first to go when a brand is looking for an overhaul. I think it says a lot about his character and her talent. Back in October, Domino magazine profiled Lyon’s Brooklyn home, which I thought was beautiful.

There goes another thing off a “never do” list; apparently a zebra print rug can look good.
Oh how I’d love to look through those racks of clothes and shoes! Thanks for posting this- I never saw it. I noticed the new catalog that I got in the mail yesterday included another spread of “Jenna’s Picks” and showed pictures of her. It also said “She really does exist”
ST, that is so funny, I was looking through the catalog last night and noticed that as well. I wonder if people thought she was a made up person? The catalog was disappointing, kind of boring. Which sucks because I love SF.
oh god i miss domino. sorry, that’s totally off topic. love her place too, i would love an old tub like that.
Hmmmm, I dunno. All looks a bit 10 years ago to me. But then, I am a science fiction character from the future!
